Hickman County is home to the most dirt county roads in all of Tennessee, and nobody knows them better than the crew at Fisher’s Off-Road Rentals. Since 2019, adrenaline junkies have enjoyed the ride of their lives with Fisher’s in Williamsport, Tenn.. With the dramatic backdrop of rugged Hickman County, Tenn., individuals and families are able to rent side-by-sides and adventure through back country roads.
Owned and operated by Brian and Melissa Fisher of Fisher’s ATV World, the Fisher’s experience includes a local guide who shares the region’s history and orients drivers to the landscape. Participants have a few options to choose from before they speed through the forests and streams of Hickman County. There are three-, four- and eight-hour options as well as an option for a four-hour winery backcountry tour. Along the way, they experience water crossings and can even visit a cave and the Primm Springs Historic Hotel & Ghost Town.
After a day of adventures, visitors have the option to enjoy a bite to eat at the Back Country Grill. Choose from a variety of pizzas, subs, sandwiches and snacks.
For those who want to make a weekend out of the experience, Fisher’s offers camping options in a secluded 50 acres of land that borders a 2,000-acre TN Wildlife Management Area and Williamsport Lake. Campfires are allowed, pets are welcome and picnic tables are available for use.
